Mukaila Ayoade a Nigerian artist was born in Nigeria. Trained at Yaba College of Technology where he majored in painting. He has participated in several workshops among which are Swimming calabash organized by Goethe Institute Nigeria in the year 1998. He had participated in several groups shows both in Nigeria Ghana and the United States of America. His medium of expression is watercolor, acrylics charcoal, and lately alcohol ink. He also improvises with materials and has been able to work with chicken feathers, newspaper, leaves, and latest is a cigarette but work of 84 by 72 inches titled global warming. He has his first solo exhibition at Nimbus gallery Nigeria in the year 2000 where he exhibited his feather works. His second solo exhibition was at Pan African University Ikoyi Lagos Nigeria where he exhibited his newspaper works. In the USA he exhibited at Faie gallery on 43rd Street, Bridgeport art studio on Racine and 35th street. He is married with children and currently lives in Chicago.
